A great way to celebrate the appointment of Mr. Myers as ambassador might be to read Sharon Creech's _Love That Dog_ aloud to your students or family, as Myers is featured in the book. The following readers' theater presentation is wonderful, and stars Avi, Sharon Creech, Walter Dean Myers, and Sarah Weeks sharing their books:


In 2007, it was a privilege to attend their presentation at the annual conference of the Texas Library Association in San Antonio. It was certainly one of my most memorable TLA conference experiences! They were absolutely tremendous!
